Webinar: Planning your 16 Days of Activism Campaign

October 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

In 2021, Respect Victoria and DV Vic/DVRCV are partnering to deliver and support local engagement in the 16 Days of Activism Grassroots initiative.¬†Facilitated by the DV Vic/DVRCV Primary Prevention Unit, this two-part webinar series is for community organisations and councils that are planning to get involved in this year’s initiative.

Is your organisation planning to get involved in this year’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence campaign? Join us for this webinar to learn how organisations of any size can participate in the 16 Days of Activism and activate your local communities in the COVID-19 context.

Our supportive project officers from the DV Vic/DVRCV Primary Prevention Unit will be hosting the webinar, to help you get on track with your campaign planning. The event will provide practical advice on how to run a successful campaign, including tips on managing inclusion and accessibility, and how to engage local leaders in discussions about the primary prevention of family and gender-based violence.

It will also feature presentations by organisations who have run successful campaigns in previous years, and incorporate an extended question and answer session. We will be responding to any questions about the 16 Days and how to best utilise your organisation’s resources to create an impactful and engaging campaign.
