The first implementation plan under the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022 has been released. Under the National Plan, the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority will work to support the inclusion of respectful relationships in phase three of the Australian Curriculum.

During October the Victorian Government released its Action Plan to Address Violence against Women and Children 2012-2015. The Victorian Governments’ Action Plan spans from primary prevention (including a mention of respectful relationships education) to crisis and justice responses.
