Review of bystander approaches – VicHealth

VicHealth is pleased to announce the release of ‘Review of bystander approaches in support of preventing violence against women’ by Anastasia Powell. This review outlines the theories relating to bystander behaviour and examines a range of programs that are designed to increase pro-social bystander action. The review also sets out the principles for effective program development in this area, with a particular focus on the potential role of bystanders to influence peer cultures and social norms.
