PiP Network Meeting, Wednesday 24 July 2013

The next PiP Network Meeting will be held from 2.00 – 4.00pm, Wednesday 24 July in the Orange Room at the Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

At this meeting, we’ll share best practice in respectful relationship education, focusing on what is happening in Victoria.

The conversation will be led by Emily Maguire, VicHealth, and we will hear from five PiP members about how they have integrated best practice into their programs:

  • Sexual Assault Prevention Program for Secondary Schools (SAPPSS). Speaker: Stephanie Tipping, CASA House
  • Gippsland Respectful relationship Education in Schools (GRREiS). Speaker: Jan Tracey, Gippsland Women’s Health Service
  • Promoting Respectful Relationships and Gender Equity: A whole of school approach. Speaker: Lisha Constantino, Dianella Community Health
  • You, Me and Us. Speaker: Melanie Sleap, Women’s Health West
  • Sexuality Education Community Support Project (SECS). Speaker: Debbie Ollis, Deakin University

We will also be hearing from Emily about VicHealth’s plans to build the respectful relationship education evidence base.
