News from the PiP desk

Firstly, we are pleased to invite you all to a PiP network meeting.
Details below.

Wednesday April 10th 2013, 2.00-4.00pm
The Purple Room, The Multicultural Hub
506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

In addition to networking opportunities the meeting will feature presentations from:
White Ribbon on their Breaking the Silence in Schools Program and Jackie Luscombe on Kidspower, which is a project challenging violence and gender stereotypes in early childhood settings (pre-primary school).

Please RSVP by March 30th via email or phone on 9486 9866 and ask for Amy or Sacha.

In other news, I will be leaving PiP on the 7th of March to take up a position at VCOSS. I have really enjoyed my time as PiP Coordinator and have particularly loved being involved with such a wide range of fantastic projects and organisations working in the respectful relationships education field. The great news is that DVRCV is now advertising an ongoing Prevention Officer position to ensure the continuation of the PiP network. Members of the network are encouraged to apply. You can access the position description here.

Until the new Prevention Officer is appointed, Sacha will be holding the network including handling RSVP’s and enquiries about the upcoming network meeting . You can contact Sacha via my email address:
