  • The Ballarat Community Charter for the Prevention of Violence Against Women was launched in October and has been designed so that community members, workplaces, schools and community organisations and clubs can make the commitment to prevent violence against women alongside Council as a community partners. For further details, click here.
  • The Minister for the Status of Women has launched the Stopping violence against women in rural communities before it happens toolkit. The toolkit can be downloaded here.
  • If you haven’ seen Prime Minister Gillard’s history-making speech on misogyny and sexism in contemporary Australian politics, you can view the video here. This speech takes respectful relationships education to a whole new level.
